How Important are Testimonials?


As you can see, I recently re-branded my website, print collateral and social media. It is always a difficult decision and process. However, when your image becomes out-dated, it is a "must!"

I am always telling my clients how important testimonials are to their business and their website. As I was re-designing my own website, I realized that I needed to "practice what I preached."

With a simple E-mail to my most current project clients asking them for a testimonial, I was able to update my testimonial page with some great comments. To be honest, it felt really good to get an E-mail or two every day from someone telling me how I had impacted their business and I was constantly updating my testimonial page for a while.

The moral of this story is.... Don't be afraid to ask your customers for testimonials or how they feel about your products & services. You might be surprised at what they write and it is a great way to showcase your business on your website and gain trust from prospective customers. Beyond that, it can be highly motivating.
